INTEGRITY.......WHAT IT MEANS TO ME
Good Morning!! I hope this Blog Cast reaches you well this morning. As a matter of fact, this entry is one from my very first archives back in December of 2014. Man, what a crazy ride the last 6 years of my life with ministry, marriage, parenting, pastoring, building, working and all the above! You can relate, right? So I pray that this entry will bless you, as it has me.
The Dictionary gives this definition
So, this pretty much sums it all up. But as I look into my life, I see that there are times that the fullness of integrity can and has been compromised at times. So, as I’m keeping it real, this is a blog and a blog is basically designed to share one’s passions, feeling, journeys in life. I prayed a few months ago to let God use my life as a story for others, and He has and continues to. So, if I am not totally transparent to those who are subscribing and I’m posting as others are posting on their websites and blogs, then how is my blog going to stand out or be anything different.
So, to look at my life in general and still keeping part of my life personal enough that there is not judgement or misguided messages, I must say that there are some areas of my life that aren’t totally in agreement with all integrity. There are times in my journey and walk with God within my family, raising a child, married and working things out, the integrity factor has been thrown out the door. And as I look at my life as a Pastor, does my life continue to show effort or just another cookie cut sermon? Am I going to preach a sermon that I just write up? Anyone can do that, I can write up a bunch of sermons and post them, but if my life isn’t presented to you as my friends and family that are following my life every now and then as something that is real, then I feel the God that I am speaking and sharing about will also be fake to you too. The point I am trying to make here is this, is the world ready for a real shaking of the Holy Spirit, or are we continuing to talk, act and portray our lives as the church did 100 years ago? Are we a generation that moves the generation to come? Are we shifting with God in a way that our integrity can still be valid? Is God's validity being presented in my life as one that is Glorifying Him?
God is a real God, that allows us to go through some real problems. Character is built through all of those life experiences. In the experiences is when Character is brought to life, showing you and I where we lack and where we can strengthen and also weaken ourselves and submit to God in the areas that we think we are polished.
This blog is confirming to me more and more why God wanted me to create this site. See all other social media is Great! but this blog is more personal and intimate with other like spirited people that actually want to see what I’m writing. Social media can be so out there that we get lost in the shuffle that the expression that it was once geared for is not expressing nonsense in what we do.
This blog is intended for me to write and share a life with you.
I know I got off subject, but this just hit me a few minutes ago, that God is taking my voice into all nations. So please share this blog with other email friends, Facebook friends, in hopes that my life story along with the inspired Word of God that I post will help someone out there with any struggles, or bring hope to a fallen world to see what God has done for me and my family, He will also do for yours if you allow Him to work in you, and through you!
That being said, we are getting ready for our family vacation to California, that we have planned since January of this year, and finally it’s here. So, I am writing kind of on the "Fly" lol. But I know that I had to get this out today, because there is someone out there that needed to read this.
Let’s focus on our integrity in our lives no matter where we are spiritually. Each level of faith requires a level of integrity to get us to the next level. So, I ask you today, where is your integrity in this level of your lives? You can comment or not, totally up to you!
